My latest episode of my podcast series “In Bed With Neil Moodie is now live, and my guest is hairdresser and founder of the award winning charity Haircuts 4 Homeless
Stewart is a born and raised Essex geyser, who began hairdressing in 1978 after falling for a girl who worked in a local salon.
Luckily he fell in love with hairdressing too and he went on to open his own salon 10 years later.
Stewart came to visit me in London where we talked about him being 13 years sober from alcohol, setting up The Sober Living Action Group in 2013, a programme with holistic treatments for alcoholics, and also in Nov 2014 creating the award winning Haircuts for Homeless. He also discusses the struggles homeless people go through and about his new haircutting training scheme for the homeless to join and help give them a career and hopefully a new start in life.
To donate or check out Haircuts for Homelesss go to www.haircuts4homless.com with the word four like the actual number 4, you can also check out the Sober Living Action Group on facebook.

Get the Gemma Chan Look I created on her for Kurt Geiger S/S19.
This season I worked for the second time on the great Kurt Geiger Campaign. The company reveal one of the many stars of the campaign every week and they’ve just announced their latest campaign star……..…….. it’s the wonderful Gemma Chan whose hair I work on quite regularly when she’s in the UK.
Gemma has starred in the TV show Humans, and more recently the biggest rom com film of the last 20 years, Crazy Rich Asians, plus Mary Queen of Scots, and her latest film Captain Marvel.
For this campaign I styled Gemma’s hair into a contemporary 60’s inspired half up do.
To re-create this look you can follow my Youtube tutorial video where I create a similar look and give product suggestions too. TUTORIAL VIDEO BELOW
Kurt Geiger is an upmarket British footwear and accessories retail company. They have over 70 stores, and over 170 concessions within department stores, including Harrods & Selfridges. Kurt Geiger owns three brands Kurt Geiger London, KG Kurt Geiger and Carvela Kurt Geiger, created by its own in-house team.
The company is named after its Austrian founder, who opened its first shop in London's fashion capital on Bond Street in 1963, and it has been based in London ever since.
Have fun creating!!
