TODAY FROM MY EDITORIAL ARCHIVE IS A COVER SHOOT AND STORY/ARTICLE INSIDE FROM THE FACE MAGAZINE JULY 2000 ISSUE STARRING ACTRESS CHLOE SEVIGNY.

Chloe emerged onto our screens back in 1995 in the Larry Clarke directed film Kids which was written by her then boyfriend Harmony Korine. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit award for this role.

She appeared in a few other roles after this, but her breakthrough came in 1999 when she starred in the controversial film Boys Don’t Cry.

The role earned her Best Supporting Actress nominations for both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award plus she won the Independent Spirit Award, a Satellite Award and a Sierra Award for her performance.

Chloe became actress of the moment and the Face magazine wanted to shoot her for the cover.

The photographer was Vincent Peters and Chloe was in London with Harmony so the shoot was arranged and here are the great images produced from our shoot day.

Sevigny has long been considered a fashion icon and has regularly appeared throughout her career in several high profile designers campaigns, including Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, and Chloe.
