THINGS WE LIKE – THE REAL LIFE EDWARD SCISSOR HANDS- VALENTINO LOSAURO !!

Posted by | Blog | No Comments

Will this catch on?? This is the question we’re asking ourselves at Moodie HQ !!!

Valentino LoSauro is the real-life Edward Scissorhands as he displays his revolutionary ‘Clawz’ which he claims cut hair twice as fast as normal shears. Standing in his Fort Myers, Florida, salon, Valentino proudly brandishes the “Clawz’ which he spent two years and £150,000 developing from scratch. Made from responsive elastic and razor sharp stainless steel, the ‘Clawz’ represent ‘the biggest advance in hair-styling since the advent of the scissor’, according to Valentino. Attached to his fingertips, Valentino has been using his innovative invention for the past eight years and feels that one day they will replace the trusty scissor.

Born in Rheinberg, Germany, Claudia Schiffer became a household name in the early 1990’s as one of the world’s most successful models. With a resemblance to the iconic Brigitte Bardot she has appeared in more than 1000 magazine covers and continues to front global campaigns for luxurious labels.

MOODS COMEDY MONDAY – GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE “WHO’S THAT BOY?”

Posted by | Blog | No Comments

Kathy Burke is another of my favourite British actresses. When she does comedy her comedy timing is impeccable.

Here’s one her most popular sitcoms she appeared in with James Dreyfus and eventually won an award for best comedy at the the TV Comedy awards after the third and final series aired on BBC1

Kathy co-wrote Gimme Gimme Gimme with writer Jonathan Harvey who wrote Beautiful Thing, Murder Most Horrid, and currently Coronation Street,

Have fun watching loudmouthed Londoner Linda And her camp gay flatmate Tom, trying to get through life.

I also think we can safely say that Kathy’s character Linda had the worst wig in comedy. ( It was intentional of course)

EDITORIAL ARCHIVE – JAPANESE VOGUE, KAREN COLLINS

Todays’ editorial archive is a shoot I worked on from Japanese Vogue back in July 2010 shot by Karen Collins.

The tennis grass court season is over but still on the grass, the golf season is in mid flow, so what better than to see some fashion/beauty shots set on a golf course.

This shoot made the Vogue beauty cover too.
